We had grandparent dances instead of parent dances, because we were both concerned that our grandparents, who are all in their 80s or 90s, might not be there to celebrate with us in 2021 (though, thankfully, our grandparents are alive and well)! We took pictures of cutting the cake for the photographer, but didn’t do the whole cake cutting ritual. We did our first dance together, but everyone watched from their tables and no one joined in. In 2020, we held our dinner in the smaller, but gorgeous Winter Garden room. We wanted the small dinner in 2020 to feel different than a full reception, but still celebratory, and the Fox Hollow was so good about helping us make changes. Gennaro and Hilary helped plan the dinner in 2020 and Hilary helped coordinate the 2021 reception. The Fox Hollow was very easy to work with and extremely helpful. Sound equipment is provided, while a custom lighting setup can also be supplied.
